Cyplex has released a new range of level and pressure sensors optimised for use with battery powered TIC TOC sensor modules. The new sensors boast ultra low power consumption enabling the TOC TOC module to deliver a mission life of up to ten years while powering the sensor, sampling readings and reporting at frequent intervals.
Ideal for use by water utilities for Non Revenue Water (NRW) leak detection or in any pipeline or reservoir, tank and river monitoring application. The sensors are made of high grade stainless steel with chemical resistant cables and a range of threaded port options.
Because there is no requirement for external power or calibration the TIC TOC sensor module and attached pressure/level sensor can be installed in minutes. For liquid level applications the sensor can be lowered to a rest position at the bottom of a tank or river with the wireless sensor module secured to a nearby structure. That’s it! The sensors are temperature compensated for stable accurate measurements and offer similar performance to ultrasonic and radar level sensors for a fraction of the price.
