Water Oil and Gas

Cyplex TIC TOC sensor modules have been designed for water and gas AMR applications where self powered metering is required. Our ultra low powered IP68 class modules are ideal for retrofitting to existing pulse and serial output meters located inside buildings or outdoors within low lying pits where backhaul radio connection performance is a critical factor.

For difficult LPWAN network reception locations our transmit signal boot feature or an external antenna option ensures that connection is possible in network shadow areas.

Each sensor module provides three digital inputs for three separate pulse output meters or a single serial port for a smart meter. For industrial metering the three digital inputs can be used for forward / reverse flow and tamper detection.

For demanding applications where battery mission life or increased report frequency is required, a self contained solar thin-film label option harvests ambient light for perpetual operation which is ideal for agricultural, oil, gas and domestic AMR applications

Pedestrian and Vehicle Traffic

Remote near real-time monitoring of pedestrian footfall in shopping centres and vehicular traffic across road networks is now cost effectively realised with the advent of LPWAN networks such as LoRa and NBIoT and ultra low power endpoint modules.
